Mondo Bag Class
Have you ever said "If only I had room in my bag for one more thing..."? Come make a Mondo Bag with us! Perfectly-matched seams, easy construction, roomy, comfortable bag using Quiltsmart grid interfacing technique. Bag bottom is about 10in square with 17in tall sides.
When: Saturdays, January 25th and February 1st, 12:45pm-4pm
Instructor: Beth
Cost: $40 includes instruction, pattern, and bag template interfacing
Supplies to bring: (any class supplies purchased in the shop after class registration get a 10% discount)
Sewing machine, threaded and ready to sew (if you have a walking presser foot that would be helpful to bring)
Basic supplies, such as pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc
5 Mini charm packs for bag body or two 5” charm pack cut into 2.5” squares
1 1/4 yard of coordinating lining fabric (for bag body and handles)
1/2 yard of 60” soft and stable or 1 1/4 yard fusible fleece
Pressing cloth (irons will be available for shared use)
With two weeks of class you should be close if not completely finished with your bag by the end! If not you’ll have all the instructions you need to finish in your pattern.
Please note class fees are non-refundable. However, if you need to give up your spot it can be transferred to someone else. Please visit or call the shop for reservation questions.
